Weapons and ammo

So in coming up with a good list of arms to prepare my family with I came up with the standard ones. Go with the AR or AK families of weapon systems. The main issue is cost involved and availability of ammo and mags. The AR weapon system costs more in all those categories with the exception of mags. The ammo for the AK-74 system(5.45X39) is the cheapest with 2160 rounds available online for about $250 with the weapon itself available for under $500 with tax and mags for about $15 each you can see that it is a very affordable way to arm your self and or your family with a very effective system.
